Internationally certified integrity testing for new installations of underground storage tanks.
Burying a fuel tank requires that you test it for tightness and pressure. This is law in most parts of the world. Sadly the greater majority of these installation tests are done incorrectly. This results in costly remediation activities in order to rectify leaks that develop in vents, pipes and fittings.
Conventional testing methods cannot reveal leaks finer than 6 litres per hour - via ingress or egress from the tank or lines. Petromonitor's US EPA certified testing system will reveal ullage leaks to within 0.09 litres per hour, some 400% more accurate than existing detection levels.
Most serious maintenance issues arising on fuel sites are found to be due to issues related to the original installation. Removing this risk from your network has obvious benefits to future performance and compliance.
Before the first delivery of product is made into the tank, our teams will confirm the tank's integrity to within 0.09 litres per hour. This ensures that any potential damage sustained during the site build operations do not affect your sensitive storage infrastructure underground.
History demonstrates that 100% tank integrity during the installation and bury phase show direct links to optimal operation during the business phase of a site. This is directly linked to better quality safety and environmental risk performance during the lifetime of the tank system.
